Abstract:

Objective To analyze the incidence characteristics and trends of new occupational diseases in Shuangliu District of Chengdu City from 2015 to 2024,and provide scientific basis for further improving the strategy of occupational disease prevention and control in Shuangliu District. Methods Collect the information of new occupational disease cases in Shuangliu District from 2015 to 2024,and make a statistical descriptive analysis on the incidence and trend of occupational diseases. Results A total of 69 new cases of occupational diseases in 4 categories were reported in Shuangliu District of Chengdu City from 2015 to 2024. The incidence of occupational pneumoconiosis(47.83%,33/69),occupational chemical poisoning(21.74%,15/69),and occupational ear, nose, throat, and oral diseases(15.94%,11/69) ranked the top three. From 2015 to 2024,the proportion of pneumoconiosis in Shuangliu District showed a downward trend(χ2=8.337,P<0.01),while the proportion of occupational noise deafness and occupational diseases caused by physical factors showed an upward trend(χ2=5.144,7.752,both P<0.05),and the proportion of new occupational diseases in large enterprises showed an upward trend(χ2=4.796,P<0.05). The cases were mainly male(64 cases,92.75%),the average age of onset was (50.35±3.91)years,the median years of exposure to hazardous substances were 5.50 years. The cases were mainly distributed in small enterprises(55.07%,38/69),concentrated in the manufacturing industry(62.32%,43/69). The differences in the distribution of different types of occupational diseases in different gender, onset age, exposure to hazardous substances working years, enterprise size, and industry categories were statistically significant(χ2=9.502,33.967,24.360,24.128,47.637,all P<0.05). Conclusion Shuangliu District in Chengdu should strengthen the protection against noise, high temperature and other harmful factors on the basis of continuously consolidating the achievements in the prevention and control of pneumoconiosis. Explore dynamic graded supervision methods, focusing on strengthening occupational disease prevention and control for small and medium-sized enterprises, while also continuing to pay attention to the incidence of occupational diseases in large enterprises and emerging industries.
