Abstract:

Objective To analyze the current status and influencing factors of sleep quality among clinical nurses based on the social ecology model, and provide reference for improving their sleep quality. Methods From June to July 2024,a convenience sampling method was used to collect sleep quality related data from 1 409 nurses in a grade-A tertiary hospitals in Shanghai. Multiple linear regression analysis was conducted to describe the current status of sleep quality and its influencing factors. Results The average sleep quality score of clinical nurses was (7.89±4.27)points,and a total of 701 nurses had sleep disorders in this study, and the incidence of sleep disorders was 49.75%. The results of multiple linear regression showed that the health status(β=0.150,t=5.143,P<0.01),anxiety(β=0.201,t=6.131,P<0.01),and depression levels of nurses at the personal trait level(β=0.182,t=5.640,P<0.01),the number of children at the interpersonal network level(β=-0.107,t=-2.742,P<0.01),the number of overtime hours in the past month(β=-0.056,t=-1.986,P<0.05),the number of training sessions after night shifts(β=0.054,t=2.003,P<0.05),the level of dual work pressure(β=0.190,t=6.400,P<0.01),and the perception of cooperation with department doctors(β=-0.073,t=-2.259,P<0.05) were the main influencing factors on the sleep quality of clinical nurses. Conclusion The sleep quality of clinical nurses in a grade-A tertiary hospitals in shanghai is poor and influenced by multiple factors. Nursing managers should pay attention to the physical and mental health level of clinical nurses, fully mobilize resources from all aspects to improve the sleep quality of nurses, and promote the stable development of the nursing industry.
