Abstract:

Objective In addition to the lifelong physical challenges brought about by the disease，human immunodeficiency virus（HIV）/acquired immune deficiency syndrome（AIDS） patients are more likely to suffer from complex psychosocial pressures such as stigma and discrimination，lack of social support，and stigma，which can easily affect patients' treatment compliance and lead to the decline of patients' quality of life. As an important indicator to measure the prognosis and quality of life of patients，psychosocial adaptation is becoming a key bottleneck affecting disease outcomes and the effectiveness of public health prevention and control. However，the current research on psychosocial adaptation in this group has some problems，such as vague conceptual definition，lack of localized assessment system，and insufficient intervention program. This article aims to review the research status of psychosocial adjustment in HIV/AIDS patients at home and abroad，elaborating on four aspects：concept definition，assessment tools，influencing factors and intervention methods，in order to provide reference for research innovation and system improvement in this field in China，help improve the level of psychosocial adjustment of patients，and promote the optimization of public health prevention and control.
