Objective To explore the genetic susceptibility of cysteine aspartate-specific protease-1(CASP1)gene polymorphisms to silicosis in Xinjiang,as well as the loci interaction of nucleic acid binding oligomeric in the pathogenesis of silicosis, and to provide insights into the pathogenesis and prevention of silicosis. Methods By convenient sampling, workers diagnosed with occupational silicosis in a provincial occupational disease diagnosis institution in Xinjiang from January 2020 to December 2024 were selected as the research subjects. A total of 84 patients with occupational silicosis were included as the case group, and 70 workers exposed to silica dust but without pneumoconiosis were included as the control group. The single nucleotide polymorphism loci rs2282659,rs530537,rs516095,and rs1790203 of the CASP1 gene were selected. After blood sample collection,DNA was extracted for genotyping. A non-conditional logistic regression model was applied to analyze the association between genetic polymorphisms and silicosis susceptibility, and generalized multi-factor dimensionality reduction method was used to analyze the correlation of the interaction between polymorphism loci and silicosis. Results The secondary allele frequencies of rs2282659 and rs530537 in the silicosis group were significantly lower than those in the dust-exposed control group(both P<0.05). After adjusting for confounding factors such as exposure duration, smoking and alcohol consumption,in the dominant model at rs530537,carriers of TC and CC genotypes had lower risk of developing silicosis compared to TT genotype carriers(OR=0.461,95%CI:0.231-0.922,P<0.05). Under the superdominant model,TC genotype carriers showed reduced risk than TT and CC carriers(OR=0.495,95%CI:0.245-0.999,P<0.05). In the additive model, the risk of silicosis gradually decreased with increasing C allele frequency(OR=0.541, 95%CI:0.299-0.976,P<0.05),confirming the dominant model as the optimal genetic model. Interactions between GMDR loci revealed that the interaction model involving rs2282659,rs530537,and rs1790203 was the most significant(P<0.05). Conclusion The CASP1 genes rs530537 and rs2282659 are associated with the risk of silicosis, and there is an interaction with rs1790203,which provides clues for further study of the risk of silicosis.

Objective To understand the intrinsic mechanisms among perceived organizational support,self-efficacy,and job crafting of emergency department nurses, and to analyze their influencing factors and mediating pathways,so as to provide references for the management of emergency nursing teams. Methods From March to May 2025,a cross-sectional survey was conducted among 397 emergency department nurses from six tertiary hospitals in Beijing, who were selected via convenience sampling. Data were collected using the perceived organizational support scale, the general self-efficacy scale, and the job crafting scale, and were subsequently analyzed. Results The total score MP25P75) of perceived organizational support of 397 emergency department nurses was 50.00(41.00,63.00)points,the total score of self-efficacy was 34.00(27.00,40.00)points,and the total score of job remodeling was 74.00(61.00,84.00)points. The perceived organizational support was positively correlated with both self-efficacy and job crafting(r=0.177,0.341,both P<0.01). A positive correlation was also observed between self-efficacy and job crafting(r=0.289,P<0.01). The mediating path "perceived organizational support → self-efficacy → job crafting" was established (β=0.044,P<0.05),accounting for 12.90% of the total effect. Conclusion Self-efficacy partially mediates the relationship between perceived organizational support and job crafting. It is recommended that nursing managers could enhance emergency department nurses' job crafting and promote their sustainable career development by adopting a dual-pronged approach focusing on perceived organizational support and individual empowerment. Specifically, this can be achieved through optimizing supportive management strategies and implementing targeted empowerment training, thereby establishing a dynamic "support-empowerment-reshaping" management model.

Objective To explore the influencing path of information literacy on innovation behavior of nursing interns, and to examine the mediating mechanism of scientific research ability between the two,so as to provide a theoretical basis for constructing a collaborative development training system of "information literacy-scientific research ability-innovation behavior". Methods From February 2024 to February 2025,a cross-sectional study design was used to conveniently select 260 nursing interns from a grade-A tertiary hospital in Shanghai, and questionnaires were conducted using the general information questionnaire, the nurses' innovative behavior scale, the nursing staff information literacy self-rating scale and the nurses' scientific research ability self-rating scale. The path relationship between variables was analyzed by structural equation modeling(SEM),and the Bootstrap method was used to test the mediating effect. Results The score of innovative behavior was (27.96±9.50)points,information literacy was (116.10±18.19)points,and scientific research ability was (57.25±24.17)points. Correlation analysis showed that information literacy and scientific research ability were significantly positively correlated with innovative behavior(r=0.322, 0.221,both P<0.01). Structural equation model analysis showed that the total effect of information literacy on innovation behavior was 0.800(95%CI:0.042-1.860,P<0.05),of which the direct effect was significant(β=0.397,95%CI:0.195-0.585,P<0.01),and the direct effect of scientific research ability on innovation behavior was also significant(β=0.298,95%CI:0.180-0.426,P<0.01). Scientific research ability played a partial mediating role in the relationship between information literacy and innovation behavior(β=0.118,95%CI:0.054-0.206,P<0.01),and the mediating effect accounted for 14.8% of the total effect. Conclusion Information literacy and scientific research ability are important predictors of innovative behavior, and scientific research ability plays a partial mediating role between them. It is suggested to establish an integrated training system of "information literacy-scientific research ability-innovative behavior" in nursing education, and enhance the innovation ability of interns by strengthening information skills training and scientific research practice.

With the acceleration of globalization and the continuous evolution of industrial structures, workers worldwide face increasingly complex occupational hazards, and occupational health protection faces unprecedented challenges. This article reviews the occupational health management models of the United Kingdom, the United States,Germany,Finland,Australia,Japan,South Korea,Singapore, and Sweden, and analyzes them from the perspectives of legal systems, regulatory agencies, and key strategies. The results show that these countries have generally established relatively complete laws and regulations and multi-sectoral management mechanisms, attach importance to the occupational health protection of emerging risks and vulnerable groups, and emphasize the shared responsibility of government, enterprises, and workers. China can learn from these international experiences and establish a prevention-oriented,multi-stakeholder occupational health management system to control the prevalence of occupational diseases.

Toluene and xylene are important organic solvents and diluents, valued for their excellent solubility and widely used in the chemical, paint, electronics, and furniture manufacturing industries. In occupational exposure settings, these compounds can be absorbed into the body through the respiratory tract and skin, leading to multi-system toxicity. This article systematically reviews the associated occupational health hazards and their mechanisms of action. Research indicates that the nervous system is a primary target, with exposure potentially causing headaches, memory loss, and other symptoms of neurasthenic syndrome. The hematological toxicity is particularly notable, which may lead to leukopenia and even aplastic anemia. Direct contact can irritate the respiratory mucosa, cause chronic inflammation, and result in contact dermatitis and skin fissures. Recent studies have further established links between exposure to toluene and xylene and high-frequency hearing loss, reproductive endocrine disruptions,as well as liver and kidney dysfunction. The core mechanisms underlying these toxic effects are widely recognized to involve oxidative stress, inflammatory responses, apoptosis, and aberrant gene expression pathways. By integrating the current evidence, this review aims to provide a theoretical foundation for improving the occupational health surveillance system, optimizing exposure limit standards, and exploring targeted intervention strategies.

Objective In addition to the lifelong physical challenges brought about by the disease, human immunodeficiency virus(HIV)/acquired immune deficiency syndrome(AIDS) patients are more likely to suffer from complex psychosocial pressures such as stigma and discrimination, lack of social support, and stigma, which can easily affect patients' treatment compliance and lead to the decline of patients' quality of life. As an important indicator to measure the prognosis and quality of life of patients, psychosocial adaptation is becoming a key bottleneck affecting disease outcomes and the effectiveness of public health prevention and control. However, the current research on psychosocial adaptation in this group has some problems, such as vague conceptual definition, lack of localized assessment system, and insufficient intervention program. This article aims to review the research status of psychosocial adjustment in HIV/AIDS patients at home and abroad, elaborating on four aspects:concept definition, assessment tools, influencing factors and intervention methods,in order to provide reference for research innovation and system improvement in this field in China, help improve the level of psychosocial adjustment of patients, and promote the optimization of public health prevention and control.
