Abstract:

The risk perception is a subjective assessment that measures the probability of an accident or illness occurring as a result of exposure to a risk source. With the increase in the number of annual digestive endoscopy consultations, the workload of endoscopic nurses increased, and the incidence of occupational risk also increased. Studies have shown that a higher level of risk perception is associated with a lower incidence of occupational risk or occupational accident. The nurses in the digestive endoscopy center face a wide variety of occupational risks and a high degree of risk hazards, which are easy to cause serious harm to their physical and mental health. However,at present, there are few relevant researches on nurses' occupational risk perception in China. Therefore, this paper aims to summarize the relevant concepts of nurses' occupational risk perception, types and hazards of endoscopic nurses' occupational risks, risk perception assessment tools and influencing factors, and intervention strategies for occupational risk prevention, with a view to improving the level of endoscopic nurses' occupational risk perception,to enhance the attention of hospital managers to improving nurses' occupational risk perception ability, thereby reducing the incidence of occupational risks, increasing occupational safety, and promoting occupational health.
