Abstract: Objective To systematically evaluate the prevalence and distribution characteristics of sleep disorders among college students in China. Methods The PubMed,Embase,Web of Science,Cochrane,VIP,CNKI,WanFang and CBM databases were searched for relevant studies on the prevalence of sleep disorders among Chinese university students from January 2016 to May 2022,and 2 researchers independently performed literature screening, extracted information and evaluated the quality of the included literature, and the meta-analysis of the included literature was performed by Stata 15.0 software. Results A total of 58 papers were included, with a total sample size of 94 829 cases, and the pooled prevalence of sleep disorders among college students in China was 22.8%(95%CI:19.8%-25.7%). The subgroup analysis results showed that there were statistically significant differences in the prevalence among college students in different gender, major, grade, smoking, drinking, survey year and region(all P<0.05).
