Abstract: Objective To investigate the current situation of job satisfaction of grass-roots general practitioners in Xinjiang and analyze the influencing factors,so as to provide scientific basis for the formulation and implementation of job satisfaction promotion strategies for grass-roots general practitioners in Xinjiang. Methods From May to June 2022,the grassroots general practitioners in Xinjiang were sampled and investigated by the Questionnaire on Job Satisfaction of General Practitioners in Xinjiang Grass-roots Medical Institutions, and the data were analyzed. Results A total of 675 general practitioners were included in the study. The overall job satisfaction score of grass-roots general practitioners in Xinjiang was (4.21±0.86)points. The difference between internal and external satisfaction scores was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the scores of promotion and training opportunities were the lowest. The unit type,doctor-patient relationship and training times(within one year) were important influencing factors of job satisfaction of grass-roots general practitioners in Xinjiang(all P<0.05). Conclusions The overall job satisfaction of grass-roots general practitioners in Xinjiang is high. In comparison, the level of job satisfaction of general practitioners in township health centers, less training times(within one year) and lower satisfaction with doctor-patient relationship is lower. In view of these factors,it is necessary to give preference to township health centers through policies and measures, reasonably allocate general practitioners' resources, increase the number of training and enrich the training content, and improve the doctor-patient relationship,so as to improve the job satisfaction of general practitioners.
