There was a positive correlation between family cohesion and learning engagement among junior high school students(r=0.431,P<0.05),and a positive correlation with perceived social support(r=0.615,P<0.05). There was a positive correlation between learning engagement and perceived social support among junior high school students(r=0.409,P<0.05).Perceived social support partially mediated the relationship between family cohesion and learning engagement(β=0.525,t=5.533,P<0.01),and the mediating effect was significant, accounting for 33.16% of the total effect.
