Abstract:

Objective To identify and investigate occupational hazard factors present in a theme park in Beijing, measure their exposure levels, evaluate the effectiveness of existing occupational protection facilities, and propose targeted control measures and improvement recommendations based on the evaluation results. Methods In May 2025,key hazard points were identified through field surveys and engineering analysis. The concentrations/intensities of occupational hazard factors to which workers were exposed were monitored, and all collected information was systematically analyzed and evaluated. Results The main occupational hazards identified included dust, ozone, hydrochloric acid, isopropanol, acetone, noise, laser radiation, and hand-transmitted vibration. Noise exposure exceeded the permissible limits for the technician and model artist in the horticulture department, with 8-hour equivalent continuous A-weighted sound pressure levels(LEX,8 h) of 88.2 and 94.4 dB(A),corresponding to Grade I(low hazard) and Grade Ⅱ(moderate hazard) exposure classifications, respectively. Concentrations of dust and chemical toxicants,as well as noise levels at other positions, all complied with occupational exposure limits. The enterprise's occupational hazard protection facilities, emergency rescue equipment, allocation of personal protective equipment, and occupational health surveillance were generally in line with relevant regulatory requirements. Conclusion There are many types of occupational hazards in this enterprise. The enterprise reduces personnel exposure through engineering modifications and other means, shortens work time through job rotation to reduce frequency and duration of exposure, and provides workers with appropriate personal protective equipment, but close attention should be placed on positions with significant noise hazards. It is recommended to maintain regular monitoring and ensure both the effectiveness of protective facilities and the correct use of personal protective equipment.
