Abstract:

Objective To understand and optimize the implementation pathway of orientation education for standardized residency training(SRT),evaluate the feedback effect of residents in Tianjin on the curriculum, and improve the quality and connotation of admission education. Methods A total of 154 enrolled residents who participated in SRT at a hospital in Tianjin in 2025 were selected to receive orientation education, after which they took post-training assessments and completed a program feedback survey. Results The training assessment pass rate for 154 residents was 100.00%,and the satisfaction rate reached 77.92%.The training format that resident physicians found most beneficial was expert theoretical lectures.59.74% of resident physicians suggested that the educational content should be more aligned with practical needs(such as hands-on clinical skill guidance),and 49.35% recommended making the training format more flexible(such as discipline-specific teaching),as well as supplying written and electronic materials. Rank-sum tests were used to compare feedback on satisfaction with orientation education and its helpfulness stratified by specialty and personnel category, the Results revealed statistically significant intergroup differences in satisfaction with orientation education across different personnel types(P<0.05).Among residents of different specialties, only the dimension of emergency competency training showed no statistically significant difference(P>0.05),while all other evaluation indicators showed statistically significant differences(all P<0.05). Conclusion Through the construction of a three-dimensional support system of "psychological adaptation-competency cultivation-professional identity" in induction education, the role transformation and competency enhancement of resident physicians can be promoted. Meanwhile, relying on demand-oriented tiered and categorized training,a whole-chain faculty assessment and management system, and a closed-loop improvement mechanism, the continuous optimization of the training system and the synergistic realization of its dual functions can be achieved.
