Abstract: Objective To systematically analyze the mechanism offine particulate matter(PM2.5) leads to behavioral problems in children. Methods By searching the Chinese and English keywords, the literature about correlation between PM2.5 exposure and child behavior problems was collected in databases. After screening through the literature inclusion conditions and exclusion conditions,24 articles were finallyclassified. Results Among 24 articles,14 articles analyzed the association between PM2.5 exposure and child behavior problems,10 articles analyzed the association between PM2.5 exposure and child abnormal behavior, and three articles took domestic children as research subjects.According to the study analysis and design classification, there were seven case-control study documents, three cross-sectional study documents, and 14 cohort studies. The results showed that increasing the concentration of PM2.5 exposure can significantly increase the risk of child behavioral problems, and the longer the exposure period of PM2.5,the more significant the deterioration and development of children's behavioral problems. In addition, research has shown that the critical period for the formation of childhood behavioral problems can be identified as fetal and infant childhood. Conclusion The concentration and time of PM2.5 exposure have a great influence on children's behavior, which can promote the formation and development of their behavioral problems.
