Abstract: Objective To understand the correlation between occupational commitment, perceived stress and work engagement of nurses in operating room of grade-A tertiary hospitals in Nanchang City. Methods From January to June 2022,154 nurses in operating room of three grade-A tertiary hospitals in Nanchang City were investigated by the general information questionnaire, occupational commitment scale, perceived stress scale, and work engagement scale. Results Totally 129 operating room nurses scored (73.19±12.84)points in occupational commitment,(42.53±6.49)points in perceived stress and (64.72±12.62)points in work engagement. The results of correlation analysis showed that the occupational commitment of operating room nurses was negatively correlated with perceived stress(r=-0.969,P<0.01),and positively correlated with work engagement(r=0.980,P<0.01). The results of multivariate analysis indicated that age, education level, organizational support, family support, social support, perceived stress, and work engagement were all influencing factors for the occupational commitment of operating room nurses(all P<0.01). Conclusion The occupational commitment of operating room nurses in grade-A tertiary hospitals in Nanchang City is at a medium level, and improving the perceived stress and salary investment level can enhance the professional commitment level of operating room nurses.
