Abstract: At present, chronic diseases often bring double harm to patients, such as body and mind. Taking a positive attitude towards the disease or trauma and paying attention to the positive impact of the disease is an important manifestation of the benefit finding from the disease, which is conducive to improving patients' physical and mental health and helping medical staff to formulate corresponding intervention measures. This paper reviews the concept, assessment tools, research status, and influencing factors of the sense of disease benefit in patients with chronicdiseases, aiming to provide a theoretical basis for implementing interventional research to improve patients' sense of disease benefit.
