Status of research on problem behaviors of left-behind children based on bibliometrics and social network analysis

Abstract: Objective To explore the research status and development trends of problem behaviors of left-behind children in China. Methods Vosviewer,SATI 2.0,Citespace,Ucinet and SPSS 20.0 were used to perform bibliometric analysis and social network analysis of the included literature. Results The research focused on rural areas,behavior problems,social support,behavior,personality,mental health,rural left-behind children,problem behaviors,and parent-child relationships. The core topics of the research could be divided into:development,crime prevention,mental health and behavior,partnership and personality traits,as well as the status quo,causes,influencing factors and countermeasures and statistical factors of problem behavior. The emerging research hotspots were:preschool children,mental health,lack of parent-child education,parent-child communication,psychological behavior,mental health,rural population,survey research,psychological problems,serious bad behavior,behavior problems,crime prevention,family environment,social support and left-behind junior high school students. Conclusion The bibliometrics and social network analysis intuitively show the research hotspots,development trends and frontiers of left-behind children's problem behaviors.
