Analysis of research status and hot spots about caregivers' health literacy based on CiteSpace

Abstract: Objective To analyze the research status and hot spots of caregivers' health literacy abroad,so as to provide reference for the further development of relevant research,chronic disease management and the construction of aging society in China. Methods With the subject term of "health literature" and "caregiver",the relevant literature publishedin the web of Science Core Corpus database from January 2000 to June 2021 was collected. The CiteSpace.5.8.R1 software was used for visual analysis of relevant data. Results A total of 584 literatures were included in this study,and the annual number of articles issued showed an increasing trend. Three author cooperation teams were initially formed. The institutes were mainly local colleges and universities,and the United States was at the forefront of the research.The research focuses on the health literacy level of caregivers of infants,children and adults with dementia,chronic diseases and mental diseases,the impact of various intervention measures on improving caregivers' health literacy,and the impact of caregivers' health literacy on the field of health care services. Conclusions At present,the field of caregiver health literacy is in the stage of rapid development in the world,and China is in the initial stage.In view of the current situation of "chronic disease killer" and "rapid aging" in China,it is believed that closely following the research hotspots and conducting in-depth research in this area will provide a new idea for chronic disease management in China,and will be of great significance to the good construction of aging society in China.
