Abstract: Objective To explore the influencing factors of job burnout among employees in a high-speed railway unit of Shanghai, provide reference for the formulation of intervention on measures. Methods By using the cross-sectional study,a questionnaire survey was conducted among employees in a high-speed railway unit of Shanghai from September to November 2020. A total of 420 questionnaires were distributed and 400 were received with a recovery rate of 95.2%,and there were 385 valid questionnaires with an effective recovery rate of 91.7%. The Maslach burnout inventory general survey(MBI-GS) was used to evaluate job burnout. The 2 test was used to analyze the differences in job burnout scores and positive rates among staff with different characteristics. The binary logistic regression analysis was used to explore the influencing factors of job burnout and its various dimensions. Results The overall detection rate of job burnout was 42.6%.The scores of three dimensions of emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and reduced sense of achievement were (15.50±7.71),(6.91±6.45) and (11.17±7.48)points,respectively. The binary logistic regression analysis showed, compared with the group that job burnout was not detected, exercise frequency of 1-2 times/week was a protective factor for job burnout(OR=0.512,P<0.05),while poor sleep was the risk factor for job burnout(OR=3.571,P<0.05). From the dimensions of job burnout, compared with the group that job burnout was not detected, poor sleep was a risk factor for high emotional exhaustion, moderate emotional exhaustion, and high level of depersonalization(OR=10.14,3.391, 3.326,all P<0.05). The exercise frequency of 3-5 times/week was a protective factor for depersonalization(OR=0.254,P<0.05). The exercise frequency of 1-2 and ≥6 times a week were protective factors for high level of reduced sense of achievement(OR=0.393,0.280,both P<0.05). The senior title was a protective factor of moderate level of reduced sense of achievement(OR=0.442,P<0.05). Conclusion The sleep quality and exercise habits have a certain impact on occurrence of job burnout among employees in a high-speed railway unit of Shanghai,so the corresponding measures should be formulated according to different influencing factors to reduce the job burnout and improve work efficiency.
