Abstract: The 8-hydroxydeoxyguanosine is the main product of DNA damage caused by oxidative stress, which reflects the degree of DNA oxidative damage to a certain extent. The generation and metabolic mechanism of 8-hydroxydeoxyguanosine is closely related to the occurrence of diseases and tumors. The antineoplastic drugs are toxic chemicals that can cause oxidative damage to DNA,and long-term occupational exposure to antineoplastic drugs may lead to potential health damage. This article review the metabolic mechanism of 8-hydroxydeoxyguanosine,the internal relations to antineoplastic drugs, the the relationship with tumor and health effects of people with occupational exposure,in order to achieve early detection of health status of people with occupational exposure, provide early warning, and consolidate the development of cancer specialists.
