Research progress on the economic toxicity in patients with chronic diseases

Abstract: Chronic diseases have the characteristics of long duration of disease,low cure rate,easy recurrence,etc.,which will make patients in a state of high expenditure and low income for a long time,aggravate economic toxicity and seriously reduce the quality of life. This article reviews the relevant studies and intervention measures of economic toxicity in patients with chronic diseases,and provide references for optimizing nursing decisions to improve patients' treatment compliance and reduce the adverse effects of economic toxicity.
