There were statistically significant differences in the scores of workplace communication stress, psychological capital and job burnout among surgery room nurses with different ages years of work, professional title, marital status, monthly performance income, average weekly working hours and average monthly night shifts(all P<0.05).Pearson correlation analysis showed that the job burnout was positively correlated with workplace communication stress(r=0.627,P<0.01),while workplace communication stress and job burnout were negatively correlated with psychological capital(r=-0.596,-0.695,both P<0.01). The mediation effect model showed that the psychological capital of surgery room nurses had a high mediating effect between workplace communication stress and job burnout, with the mediating effect of 0.191,accounting for 39.14% of total effect.
