Research progress on the sense of overqualification among nurses

Abstract: With the increasing demand for high-quality talents in the nursing field,more and more highly educated nursing talents have begun to devote themselves to nursing work. However,excess education and experience can lead to a high sense of overqualification,increase the professional burnout and resignation intention of nurses. The research on the perception of nurses' overqualification in China is still in its early stages,and only the current situation of nurses' overqualification has been studied. This paper reviews the overview,antecedent variables and outcome variables of nurses' overqualification,and strategies to reduce nurses' overqualification,so as to provide reference for nursing medical institutions and nursing managers.
