Abstract: Objective To investigate the current status of circadian types and sleep-related worry among female shift nurses in Beijing, and analyze the correlation between circadian types and sleep-related worry of female shift nurses. Methods From January to March 2024,a survey was conducted on 370 female shift nurses from three tertiary hospitals in Beijing by a general information questionnaire, circadian type inventory-11(CTI-11),and anxiety and preoccupation about sleep questionnaire(APSQ),and the data were analyzed. Results Among 370 female shift nurses, the total score of flexibility/rigidity(FR) was (11.56±3.80)points,the total score of lethargy/vitality(LV) was (18.86±4.94)points,and the total score of APSQ was (36.19±4.80)points. Correlation analysis showed that the FR of female shift nurses was negatively correlated with APSQ(r=-0.476,P<0.05),LV was positively correlated with APSQ(r=0.486,P<0.05). Regression analysis showed that LV,FR,perceived work pressure, work family conflict, job satisfaction, and daily sleep time were the main influencing factors of APSQ among female shift nurses(all P<0.05). Conclusion Female shift nurses in Beijing have poor flexibility and low vitality in their circadian rhythm, and their sleep-related worry is not optimistic, and circadian types is closely related to sleep-related worry.
