Abstract:

During aerial operations, pilots are required to remain a high level of alertness and continuous focus for extended periods to effectively cope with multiple overload factors such as high-altitude radiation,low-pressure hypoxia, noise, and vibration, which puts higher demands on pilots' dietary nutrition. By reviewing relevant domestic and international research literature, this paper finds that pilots generally face issues including unreasonable dietary structure, unbalanced intake of energy and nutrients, and deficiency of various micronutrients. Meanwhile, they also confront problems such as the high incidence of metabolism-related diseases, and frequent occurrences of overweight and excessive body fat percentage. On this basis, the paper further explores the key factors affecting the quality and effectiveness of pilots' nutritional support, and proposes five countermeasures:strengthening publicity and education, enhancing cooking training, accelerating food research and development, conducting nutritional intervention, and persisting in dietary surveys. The purpose is to provide references and suggestions for improving pilots' nutritional status, enhancing their health level, and ensuring flight safety.
