Abstract:

Objective To explore the current situation of occupational well-being work cognitive evaluation and chemotherapy occupational protection attitude among nurses in oncology-related departments, and to analyze the influence of factors such as occupational well-being work cognitive evaluation on chemotherapy occupational protection attitude among nurses in oncology-related departments. Methods From July to December 2024,a total of 204 clinical nurses in oncology-related departments of four grade-A tertiary hospitals in Guangdong Province were selected for questionnaire surveys. The general information questionnaire, the occupational well-being work cognitive evaluation scale, and the chemotherapy occupational protection attitude scale were used for survey and the data were analyzed. Results The total score of occupational well-being work cognitive evaluation among 204 nurses in oncology-related departments was (78.35±16.62)points,the total score of chemotherapy occupational protection attitude[MP25P75)] was 23.50(21.00,27.00)points,and the two were positively correlated(r=0.796,P<0.01). The professional title, years of working experience, type of hospital, number of chemotherapeutic occupational protection-related trainings per year, and occupational well-being work cognitive evaluation were the independent factors affecting chemotherapy occupational protection attitude among nurses in oncology-related departments(all P<0.05). Conclusion The chemotherapy occupational protection attitude among nurses in oncology-related departments needs to be improved, particularly among those with low occupational well-being,and it is necessary to identify and meet their health and incentive needs, improve the occupational safety and protection management system, strengthen protection training,in order to comprehensively enhance nurses' awareness and attitude towards chemotherapy occupational protection.
