Abstract:

The health monitoring tools are capable of real-time and precise monitoring of the physiological health data of the elderly and providing timely health warnings and feedback. This facilitates the early detection of potential health issues, thereby enabling the adoption of effective measures for intervention and treatment. Nevertheless, the acceptance of health monitoring tools among the elderly remains restricted. Through searching the existing database, this paper summarizes the relevant studies on the acceptability of health monitoring tools for the elderly both at home and abroad, encompassing the application status, the theoretical model of acceptability, and the related studies on the subjective and objective influencing factors. Moreover,it proposes future improvement strategies based on the development status of health management for the elderly in China, with the aim of providing a reference for enhancing the acceptability of health monitoring tools for the elderly.
