Research progress of electronic health literacy theory and evaluation tools

Abstract: "Internet plus health" is an important trend in today's society. The electronic health literacy(e-health literacy) is an essential factor for promoting the full utilization of e-health resources and services and in the field of e-health research. Understanding the path through which e-health literacy affects people's health and effectively evaluating the level of people's e-health literacy is an important premise to guide people through the use of electronic resources to maintain and promote health,prevent and manage diseases. As a key concept in the emerging field,the research on e-health literacy has developed rapidly in recent twenty years. This study combs and updates the formation process of concept of e-health literacy,the theoretical model of e-health literacy and the latest main evaluation tools,and describs the source and content of the theoretical model and the evaluation dimensions,scoring methods,reliability and validity of the evaluation tools in detail from the perspective of comprehensive and specificity,so as to provide reference for the future research of e-health literacy in China and promoting the development of electronic health.
