Abstract: :The event-group training theory is an important theoretical basis to guide sports training, and it also lays the foundation for the selection of exercise prescriptions in the field of sleep quality research. Systematic and standardized sorting based on the event-group training theory is crucial to further implement the scientific guidance of the impact of exercise intervention on sleep quality. Based on the event-group training theory, this study classifies, integrates and summarizes relevant literature. Research has shown that the effect of exercise on improving sleep quality has been widely recognized by the academic community, but the exercise patterns involved in existing studies have problems such as lack of theoretical guidance and unclear classification. This article can be applied to the related research of exercise and sleep quality, provide reference for formulating standardized exercise intervention methods, and effectively promote the transformation of research results into practical applications.

Key words: Event-group training theory, Exercise, Sleep, Sleep quality
