Abstract: Objective To understand the public's awareness of cardiopulmonary resuscitation,the current training situation and the factors influencing the public's willingness to participate in the training,provide a basis for developing training programs that meet the public's wishes. Methods From May 4th to June 30th,2019,a self-designed questionnaire was used to conduct an online survey among the public who met the inclusion criteria. Results A total of 1 588 valid copies were recovered in this survey. The qualification rate of CPR related knowledge among the public was 45.53%,49.69% of the public havereceived the CPR training,and 91.50% of the public were more willing to participate in CPR training. The logistic regression analysis showed that people aged 45-<60 years old were less willing to participate in training,and women,qualified CPR knowledge,willingness to implement CPR for others,and higher frequency of training were the protective factors for their willingness to participate in training （all P<0.05）. The main obstacle to public participated in training was"I don't know where there is training"（67.41%）. Conclusion The public's awareness of cardiopulmonary resuscitation in China is at a medium-low level,although the public's willingness to participate in the training is high,the actual participation rate is not high,which needs to be continuously improved according to the actual situation of the public in the future training.
