Exploration of the application scope of mobile health in health anxiety

摘要:

目的 对移动健康技术在健康焦虑(health anxiety,HA)应用中的研究进行范围审查,为HA的移动健康管理实践及后续研究提供参考。方法 根据范围综述方法学框架,系统检索PubMed、Embase、Web of Science、中国知网等9个中英文数据库,检索时限为建库至2025年8月。结果 共纳入12项相关研究,干预形式主要包括应用程序、专业网站、电子邮件、短信、电话、聊天机器人和视频会议。移动健康技术可显著改善HA症状、不良情绪、生活质量及功能状态,且疗效可持续6~12个月。总体不良反应轻微,以短暂性焦虑加重为主,无严重不良事件报告。结论 移动健康在HA管理中具有显著疗效和良好安全性,其多样化形式与结构化策略为HA干预提供了新路径,未来需优化用户体验、完善安全性评估,并推进高质量长效研究。

Abstract:

Objective To conduct a scoping review of studies on the application of mobile health in health anxiety(HA),and to provide references for HA management practices based on mHealth and further related research. Methods Following the scoping review methodological framework,a systematic search was performed in nine Chinese and English databases including PubMed,Embase,Web of Science,and CNKI from the establishment of the databases to August 2025. Results A total of 12 relevant studies were included. Intervention formats mainly included mobile applications,professional websites,emails,text messages,phone calls,chatbots,and video conferences. mHealth significantly improved HA symptoms,negative emotions,quality of life,and functional status,with effects sustained for 6-12 months. Overall,adverse reactions were mild,primarily consisting of transient increases in anxiety,and no serious adverse events were reported. Conclusion mHealth demonstrates significant efficacy and good safety in managing HA,offering diversified formats and structured strategies for HA interventions. Future efforts should focus on optimizing user experience,improving safety assessments,and advancing high quality long-term studies.
