Objective To understand the application of three different occupational health risk assessment models in synthetic rubber manufacturing industry. Methods In January 2024,an on-site occupational health survey was conducted on a synthetic rubber manufacturing enterprise in Nanchong City, and the exposure concentration of time weighted average(CTWA) of chemical toxin exposure positions was detected.Qualitative evaluation method, contact ratio method, and comprehensive index method were used to evaluate their occupational health risks and analyze the applicability of these three methods. Results The main positions exposed to chemical toxins in this enterprise were polymerization, rubber washing, and rubber drying positions, with the main exposure to chemical toxins being ethyl acrylate and n-butyl acrylate.Except for the ethyl acrylate(CTWA of 28.6 mg/m3) in the rubber washing position, which exceeded the reference occupational exposure limit(OEL),all other positions were exposed to chemical toxins below the OEL.The risk level evaluated by the qualitative evaluation method was higher than that evaluated by the contact ratio method and the comprehensive index method. The Kappa values of the three methods compared to each other were all 0,indicating poor consistency. Conclusion There are occupational health risks of chemical poisons in this enterprise, and personal protection of workers should be strengthened. The evaluation results of three methods are inconsistent. The qualitative evaluation method is easy to overestimate the risk level, and the contact ratio method has incomplete evaluation factors, while the comprehensive index method is more in line with the actual situation.

Objective To construct a depression risk prediction model for elderly people with cardiovascular disease(CVD) in China, providing a basis for early identification of depression. Methods The empirical analysis was conducted by using the fourth round of China health and retirement longitudinal study(CHARLS) survey project, which was officially released to the world on September 23,2020. The center for epidemiological studies depression scale(CES-D) was used to evaluate the depressive mood of elderly people with CVD. The non-parametric tests and chi square tests were used for univariate analysis, and multivariate logistic regression was used to analyze the influencing factors of depression in elderly people with CVD. A depression risk prediction model for elderly people with CVD was constructed, and it was randomly divided into training and validation sets in a 7∶3 ratio. The model was calibrated to verify its effectiveness. Results A total of 4 325 respondents were included. Women, decreased educational level,separated/divorced/widowed/unmarried,decreased self-reported health, disabilities, chronic lung diseases such as chronic bronchitis or emphysema(excluding tumors or cancer),arthritis or rheumatism, kidney diseases(excluding tumors or cancer),stomach or other digestive system diseases(excluding tumors or cancer),and engaging in vigorous physical activity were influencing factors for depression in elderly CVD patients(all P<0.05). The ROC curve AUC sizes for constructing the training and validation sets of risk prediction models were 0.734(95%CI:0.717-0.752) and 0.749(95%CI:0.722-0.776) respectively, with Hosmer Lemeshow test showing P>0.05. The two groups have good goodness of fit,and the risk prediction model has good calibration. Conclusions Women, decreased education level,separation/divorce/widowhood/unmarried,self-rated health decline, disability, chronic lung diseases such as chronic bronchitis or emphysema(excluding tumors or cancer),arthritis or rheumatism, kidney diseases(excluding tumors or cancer),stomach or other digestive system diseases(excluding tumors or cancer),and intense physical activity significantly increase the risk of depression in CVD elderly people. After a series of validations,it is suggested that both the training and validation sets of this model have a net benefit range, good consistency and predictive performance, providing a basis for early screening of depression in CVD elderly people by medical staff.

Objective Based on the changes in miR-149 and PDCD4 expression levels, this study aims to explore the mechanism of the effects of hexavalent chromium[chromium(VI),Cr (VI)] exposure on the proliferation, invasion, migration, apoptosis, and cell cycle of colorectal cancer cells. Methods Human colorectal cancer cells SW480 were divided into control group and low, medium and high dose Cr(VI) exposure groups, with Cr(VI) concentrations of 0.25,0.50 and 1.00 mol/L,respectively. After 48 hours of cultivation,6 multiple wells were set up in each group. After cultivation, the CCK-8 kit was used to measure the cell proliferation levels, methyl violet staining was used to measure the number of cell monoclonal formation, the Transwell method and wound healing test were used to evaluate the cell invasion and migration ability, flow cytometry was used to measure cell cycle G2/M phase levels,RT-PCR method and Western blotting were used to measure the expression levels of microRNA-149(miR-149) and programmed cell death factor 4(PDCD4) in cells. Results After exposure to different doses of Cr(VI),SW480 colorectal cancer cells showed significantly higher proliferation rate, number of monoclonal formations, number of membrane penetrations, migration distance, and miR-149 levels compared to the control group, while apoptosis rate, cell cycle G2/M phase,PDCD4mRNA,and protein levels were significantly lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.01). With the increase of Cr(VI) exposure dose, the proliferation rate, number of monoclonal formations, number of membrane penetrations, migration distance, and miR-149 level gradually increased, and the apoptosis rate, cell cycle G2/M phase,PDCD4mRNA,and protein levels gradually decreased, with an obvious dose-effect relationship, and the difference were statistically significant(all P<0.01). Conclusion Cr(VI) can promote the proliferation and invasion of colorectal cancer cell SW480,inhibit cell apoptosis and cell cycle arrest, and increases the malignant biological behavior of colorectal cancer cell SW480. The mechanism is related to Cr(VI) exposure increasing the expression level of miR-149 in colorectal cancer cell SW480 and inhibiting PDCD4 expression.

Objective Based on the investigation and analysis of military training injuries(MTI) in high-altitude troops, this study aims to explore the influencing factors and injury characteristics,in order to provide reference for future related investigations and research as well as the prevention and treatment of MTI in high-altitude troops. Method Review Manager 5.3 software was used to organize and analyze the relevant investigation and research on MTI of high-altitude troops in China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),VIP,and Wanfang databases. The retrieval time was from the establishment of the database to February 2024. A systematic evaluation was conducted based on different influencing factors and injury characteristics. Results A total of 27 articles were included, with a total of 14 766 cases of MTI. Meta-analysis results showed that the combined incidence of MTI was 19%. The results of subgroup analysis of various influencing factors showed that the incidence rate of cadres(RD=0.14, 95%CI:-0.18-0.46) was lower than that of conscripts(RD=0.22,95%CI:-0.18-0.62) and non-commissioned officers(RD=0.23,95%CI:0.17-0.63),the incidence rate of military sources in cities(RD=0.17,95% CI:-0.35-0.68) was lower than that in rural areas (RD=0.22,95%CI:-0.34-0.78),the incidence of college degree and below(RD=0.30,95%CI:-0.19-0.78)was higher than undergraduate and above(RD=0.17,95%CI:-0.30-0.63),the incidence rate was highest at an altitude of 3 000-<4 000 m(RD=0.23,95%CI:-0.00-0.47),followed by≥4 000 m(RD=0.18,95%CI:-0.18-0.54) and 2 000-<3 000 m(RD=0.09,95%CI:-0.31-0.49). The highest incidence rate was observed in 2016-2024(RD=0.25,95%CI:-0.08-0.57),followed by before 2005(RD=0.17,95%CI:-0.06-0.39) and 2006-2015(RD=0.16,95%CI:-0.07-0.39). There was no statistically significant difference in age and body mass index(BMI) between the MTI group and the normal group(both P>0.05),and warm-up before training was a factor affecting MTI(P<0.05). The highest proportion of injury sites was in the upper limbs, followed by the trunk, lower limbs, and head and neck. The highest proportion of injury types was soft tissue injury, followed by bone and joint injury, other injuries, and organ injury. In recent years, the proportion of soft tissue injury had gradually increased, while other injuries had relatively decreased. The highest proportion of injury training was physical training, followed by professional technical training, tactical training, and other common subjects. The highest proportion of injury causing factors was found in group training factors, followed by individual factors and environmental factors. Conclusion There are many influencing factors for MTI of officers and soldiers at high altitude, among which warm-up before training can effectively prevent their occurrence, and the prevalence rate of compulsory soldiers, college education, rural soldiers,Xizang and other regions, high training intensity is higher. In addition, the site of injury is concentrated in the upper limbs, with soft tissue injury as the main type of injury. The injury training is mostly physical training, and the injury factors are mostly group training factors.
